A brief introduction to matters needing attention before submitting a bill of lading for shipping dangerous goods

       1. Starting from June 1, 2018, due to the adjustment of the import and export cargo manifest information by my country Customs, before submitting the ocean bill of lading for dangerous goods, the dangerous goods forwarder must check with the shipper in advance the basic information of the consignee, consignor, and notifier on the ocean bill of lading, including company name, address, dangerous goods emergency contact person, telephone number, business license code and other information, as well as dangerous goods description, classification, grade and other basic information.

       3. After receiving the supplementary information of the dangerous goods export ocean bill of lading provided by the export unit, you must carefully check it. If you find that the consignee and consignor information on the bill of lading is different from that at the time of booking, you must promptly communicate with the person in charge of the booking export unit. Generally, after booking for dangerous goods, the basic information of the consignee and consignor is not allowed to be changed, otherwise fines will be incurred. Generally, within about 1-2 days after the ocean bill of lading is submitted to the shipping company, the shipping company will provide the COPY of the ocean bill of lading to the dangerous goods freight forwarder. After the final export unit confirms the contents of the ocean bill of lading, the shipping company will confirm whether to issue the original bill of lading or a telex release bill of lading. After the shipping company receives the dangerous goods shipping freight and surcharges, the shipping company will issue the original bill of lading or a telex release bill of lading notice.
